Tasha Dennis, Esq. is an attorney focusing her practice on probate and estate planning. She assists clients with drafting Wills, Trusts, and related documents, as well as guiding families through estate administrations and guardianship proceedings.
In addition to her estate planning work, Tasha represents clients in civil litigation and consumer law matters, advocating for individuals and businesses in disputes ranging from contract conflicts to tax-related issues.
She also counsels entrepreneurs and businesses navigating the evolving landscape of cannabis compliance in Texas, helping clients understand regulatory requirements and operational obligations.
Tasha earned her Juris Doctor from Texas Southern University's Thurgood Marshall School of Law, graduating in May 2024. She previously earned a Master of Public Policy from New England College in 2014 and is currently pursuing an LL.M. in Wealth Management at Texas A&M University School of Law — further deepening her expertise at the intersection of law, wealth management, and public policy.
Prior to attending law school, Tasha gained valuable legislative and advocacy experience working on K Street in Washington, D.C., where she navigated complex policy and government relations matters. She is also trained in mediation, bringing a calm and solution-oriented approach to conflict resolution.
A proud native of Houston, Tasha enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the city's cultural and culinary scene, and engaging in community service. She actively participates in organizations such as the Houston Caribbean Professionals Association, where she chairs the Education Committee.
